Local Authors & Artists Welcome at The Book Worm! Throughout the year we have local talent stop by with their books, cds, artwork, handmade items etc. Please support them by " buying local" so check them out in the store as well as visiting their websites. If you know a talented artist, musician, or author, please refer them to our store to see if there is a spot for them.
Save Mother Earth by recycling your "stuff" instead of throwing it away. I am a big supporter of The Freecycle Network™ , which is made up of 4,142 groups with 3,969,000 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer, which is one of the things I am most active in. Membership is free. Click the above link to join.
